DUBAI – Web Desk: Luxury hotels in Dubai are increasingly relying on local residents as tourism in the Gulf region has been severely impacted by the war against Iran, according to international media reports.
Some hotels have been temporarily closed under the pretext of renovation, while others are facing salary crises and staff shortages, with many hotels’ recovery tied to an end to the conflict. Five-star hotels on Palm Jumeirah and other popular tourist destinations have introduced special discount packages for residents, allowing people who previously could not afford the high prices to now stay at luxury hotels.
