Mina, Saudi Arabia – Web Desk: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud in Mina, where both sides discussed bilateral relations, regional developments, and internal security cooperation.
According to an official statement, the two ministers exchanged Eid al-Adha greetings and extended best wishes to each other. The Saudi interior minister also congratulated Pakistan on the successful Hajj arrangements.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relations and internal security matters. Both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in the security sector.
A key decision was made to send 200 personnel from Pakistan’s Federal Constabulary Special Diplomatic Protection Unit to Saudi Arabia for specialized training.
It was also agreed that a high-level delegation from the Saudi Interior Ministry will soon visit Pakistan to further strengthen bilateral coordination and cooperation.
Mohsin Naqvi praised the Saudi government’s exemplary arrangements during Hajj, while the Saudi minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in reducing regional tensions.
