WASHINGTON – Web Desk: US President Donald Trump has announced that he will not attend his son’s wedding, citing government responsibilities and national affairs as reasons for being unable to be present on the important occasion.
President Trump congratulated his son and his fiancée Bettina, stating that he would have wanted to be with his family on this joyful occasion, but his current government duties do not permit it. “My love for America and the demands of state affairs require me to remain at the White House, which is why I cannot attend the wedding ceremony,” he said.
According to US media, Trump’s son Don Jr.’s wedding ceremony will be held this week on a small island in the Bahamas, with only close family members and a few friends in attendance.
