Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has arrived in Tehran for the second time within 24 hours, amid diplomatic efforts linked to ongoing discussions between the United States and Iran.
According to sources, the visit is part of broader engagement efforts, during which Mohsin Naqvi is expected to hold meetings with senior Iranian leadership regarding regional developments and US-Iran diplomatic contacts.
The minister had also visited Iran earlier this week, where he met Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Chief negotiator Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. During those meetings, discussions focused on bilateral relations and the evolving situation in the Middle East.
Diplomatic sources said that the talks also included regional security concerns and coordination on matters affecting stability in the region.
Following his previous visit, Mohsin Naqvi traveled directly to Balochistan, where Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir were also present.
