Trump: Gulf Allies Stopped Imminent Iran Strike

Date:

Washington, D.C. – Web Desk: U.S. President Donald Trump revealed that a planned military strike on Iran, scheduled for today, has been postponed at the request of key Gulf leaders.

According to a global news agency, President Trump stated that all military preparations for the attack had been completed. However, Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan assured the White House that serious negotiations with Tehran are ongoing.

Trump noted that a mutually acceptable agreement—one that satisfies the United States, the Middle East, and other concerned nations—remains possible. He emphasized that the core condition of any deal would be that Iran does not possess nuclear weapons.

The U.S. President confirmed that he has instructed Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and other military commanders to halt the strike for now. However, Trump issued a stark warning: if a viable agreement is not reached, the U.S. military will attack Iran at any moment.

Western media reports had earlier indicated that the U.S. military had prepared multiple options for both limited and large-scale operations against Iran. Some reports suggested that the U.S. Navy and Air Force were placed on high alert in the Gulf region, while Israel was also considering potential coordinated action.

Analysts say Gulf states are keen to avoid a major conflict, as a direct war with Iran could prove devastating for the entire Gulf region, global oil trade, and the world economy.
