Washington, United States – Web Desk:US President Donald Trump said top health experts are closely monitoring the hantavirus situation, expressing hope that the outbreak is “largely under control.”
Speaking to reporters, Trump said he had received a detailed briefing on the virus and that leading specialists were actively studying its spread and impact.
“We hope it is very much under control. High-level experts are studying the hantavirus situation,” Trump said.
The US president also addressed the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, saying he hoped the recently announced three-day ceasefire could be extended further.
Trump stated that thousands of soldiers were dying every month in the war and emphasized his desire to end the bloodshed permanently.
“I want to see a major extension in the ceasefire. The three-day truce is only the beginning — I want a complete end to this war,” he said.
Separately, Trump said Washington was expecting a response from Iran regarding recent ceasefire proposals linked to regional tensions in the Middle East.
The comments come amid growing international attention on geopolitical instability, public health concerns, and ongoing diplomatic efforts involving Iran, Russia, and Ukraine.
