Gold Prices Surge After 3-Day Pause in Global Markets

Date:

Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Global and domestic bullion markets witnessed a sharp rise in gold and silver prices after a brief three-day pause, driven by renewed volatility in international trading.

In the international bullion market, gold prices increased by $111 per ounce, reaching $4,666 per ounce. The surge reflects heightened investor demand amid ongoing uncertainty in global financial markets.

Following the international trend, local markets also saw a significant jump. In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs 11,100 to reach Rs 488,962, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs 9,517 to Rs 419,206.

Silver prices also recorded gains. The per tola silver price increased by Rs 223 to Rs 8,072, while the price of 10 grams rose by Rs 191 to Rs 6,920.

Analysts say precious metals continue to attract investors as safe-haven assets amid inflation concerns, currency fluctuations, and global geopolitical uncertainty.

Market experts expect volatility to persist in the coming days depending on international economic signals and central bank policy outlooks.
