West Bank, Palestine – Web Desk: Children from the occupied West Bank held a video call with Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai, during which they shared accounts of daily hardships, restricted mobility, and severe disruptions to their education.
According to the conversation, the children described how access to schools has become increasingly difficult due to barriers on roads, barbed wire installations, and movement restrictions in several areas. They said these conditions are severely affecting their education and putting their future at risk.
Malala Yousafzai expressed deep concern over the situation, saying the stories shared by the children were heartbreaking. She emphasized hope that the international community would listen to their voices and take note of the challenges faced by children living in conflict-affected areas.
During the call, the children also performed Arabic songs for Malala, reflecting both their resilience and emotional expression amid difficult circumstances.
