Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has urged citizens to strengthen economic and cultural resilience, calling for greater reliance on domestically produced goods amid ongoing tensions.
According to Iranian media, Khamenei said in a written statement that Iran had demonstrated its superiority over its adversaries during the recent conflict. He stressed that confronting opponents now requires participation in what he described as an “economic war.”
The Supreme Leader emphasized that defeating adversaries is not limited to the battlefield but must extend to economic and cultural fronts. He called on Iranians to prioritize locally manufactured products to support national industries.
Khamenei also urged business owners to avoid layoffs where possible, highlighting the importance of job security during challenging economic conditions.
His remarks come as Iran navigates continued geopolitical tensions and economic pressures, with authorities increasingly encouraging self-reliance and domestic production to counter external challenges.
