Iran Chief Justice: Not Seeking War, But Ready to Fight

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Chief Justice Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei has said the country does not seek war but will not hesitate to defend its dignity if threatened, according to Iranian state media.

He stressed that Iran has never abandoned negotiations with the United States, but made it clear that diplomacy must be based on logic and mutual respect rather than coercion.

“If our dignity is threatened, we will fight to defend it,” he said, describing it as a firm national stance.

The chief justice added that while Iran supports dialogue, it will not accept pressure or imposed demands. He warned that those who failed to achieve their objectives through aggression and threats cannot dictate terms at the negotiating table.

He also stated that Iran plans to pursue legal action against the United States, vowing to hold those responsible for alleged war crimes accountable and seek compensation.

The remarks come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, with ongoing geopolitical developments involving the United States and Iran drawing global attention.
