Karachi, Pakistan – Sports Desk: Hyderabad Kingsmen have topped the “Spirit of Cricket” fair play standings in the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), setting a benchmark for sportsmanship across the tournament.
The PSL’s official account released the Spirit of Cricket scoreboard, which included 10 group-stage matches. Each match carried points for respecting the opponent (2 points), respecting the umpire (2 points), and the Spirit of Cricket award (4 points), awarded separately by on-field and third umpires, for a total of 240 points overall.
Hyderabad Kingsmen emerged at the top with 222 points out of 240. Quetta Gladiators secured second place with 216 points, followed by Lahore Qalandars in third with 210 points.
Multan Sultans finished fourth with 204 points, Peshawar Zalmi fifth with 201 points, Rawalpindi Royals sixth with 198 points, Islamabad United seventh with 192 points, and Karachi Kings last with 171 points.
Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi have already qualified for the final. Hyderabad Kingsmen and Islamabad United will face each other in Eliminator 2 on Friday for a spot in the championship match.
The Spirit of Cricket initiative aims to promote fair play and positive conduct among players, with the final standings reflecting teams’ commitment to the game’s traditional values.
