Trump Claims Iran Admitted Internal Decline Amid Sanctions

Date:

Washington, United States – Web Desk: Donald Trump has claimed that Iran acknowledged internal decline due to ongoing US restrictions, amid stalled ceasefire negotiations between the two sides.

In a statement posted on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump alleged that Iranian officials admitted the country is facing internal deterioration as a result of what he described as a US “blockade.”

According to Trump, Iran has also requested that the United States reopen the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible, citing efforts to manage internal leadership challenges.

The former US president added that he believes Iran has the capacity to recover from the current situation. However, he did not provide details on which Iranian officials allegedly made contact, nor when or how the communication took place.

There has been no official response from Iranian authorities regarding Trump’s claims, and no independent international sources have so far verified the statement. The remarks come at a time of heightened geopolitical tensions and uncertainty surrounding negotiations in the region.
