MELBOURNE – Web Desk: Australian cricketer David Warner has delivered a sharp response to an Indian social media user who advised him to leave the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and return to the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The Indian user told Warner: “It’s better for you. Leave PSL and come back to IPL.” Warner replied firmly: “There’s no need for that anymore.”
The exchange came after Warner, captain of Karachi Kings, posted about his team’s journey in PSL following their elimination from the first round. In his post, Warner wrote: “The result wasn’t what we were hoping for in PSL, but the players’ passion, dedication, and hard work throughout were outstanding.”
He also thanked the police, security personnel, and those who patiently endured traffic delays for taking care of them.
