ISLAMABAD – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has granted permission for spectators to attend the final of the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the stadium.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said in a statement on social media that he had requested the Prime Minister to allow fans into the stadium. “The Prime Minister also wanted fans to be allowed,” Naqvi said. “Upon the request of franchise owners, the Prime Minister has granted permission for fans to attend the PSL final.”

Naqvi thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, adding that the Prime Minister also emphasized the ongoing austerity campaign.

It may be recalled that the Prime Minister had announced a nationwide austerity campaign amid rising tensions in the Middle East and the oil crisis resulting from the US-Iran war.
