Iran Rejects Trump Claims of Leadership Divisions

Date:

TEHRAN, Iran – Web Desk: Senior Iranian officials have rejected claims by US President Donald Trump that divisions exist within Iran’s leadership, insisting that the country remains politically united.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said there is no internal split within Tehran’s leadership.

In statements shared on social media, the leaders said Iran’s political establishment remains united and that the country is standing together during ongoing regional tensions.

“There are no hardliners or moderates — we are all Iranian and revolutionary,” Iranian officials said, stressing what they described as strong unity between the government and the public.

Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref also backed the position, saying Iran is “one nation and one spirit.”

Trump has repeatedly claimed in recent days that serious divisions exist within Iran’s leadership and that confusion surrounds the country’s leadership structure.

Iranian officials dismissed those claims and said military and political leadership remain fully coordinated.

The developments come as tensions remain high in the Strait of Hormuz and broader Gulf region, while negotiations between Iran and the United States appear stalled.

Analysts warn that escalating rhetoric and diplomatic tensions could have wider implications for regional stability and the global economy.
