DG ISPR Highlights Questions on Pahalgam False Flag Case

Date:

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan’s military spokesperson has reiterated questions surrounding the Pahalgam incident, originally highlighted during a briefing on April 30, 2025, stating that key concerns raised by Islamabad have still not been addressed.

According to remarks attributed to Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Pakistan has consistently called for evidence-based investigation rather than allegations regarding the incident.

He questioned claims linking the attack to individuals allegedly crossing from Pakistan, noting that Pahalgam is located more than 200 kilometers from the nearest Pakistani town and involves difficult terrain with limited accessibility.

He further stated that travel conditions in the region are challenging, with no smooth or all-weather road infrastructure, making rapid movement highly unlikely.

Referring to official reports, he pointed out inconsistencies in the timeline, questioning how police allegedly reached the site, completed initial procedures, and filed a report within a very short span of time.

The DG ISPR also raised concerns over claims that attackers crossed the border, noting that such assertions were made within minutes of the incident despite the absence of prior intelligence alerts.

Pakistan maintains that the questions raised during the briefing remain unanswered, calling for transparency and a credible investigation into the incident.
