Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Authorities in Islamabad have sealed the Red Zone and restricted public access ahead of the second round of Iran-US negotiations, citing heightened security concerns.
According to an official notification issued by the Islamabad administration, entry into the Red Zone will remain completely closed on April 21. Offices and educational institutions located within the high-security area have been directed to operate remotely under work-from-home arrangements.
The notification further stated that all public and private activities in the Red Zone will be significantly limited, and citizens have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel to the area.
Officials emphasized that institutions within the zone should continue operations online, as authorities maintain strict security protocols during the sensitive diplomatic engagements.
The measures come as Pakistan hosts critical talks between Iran and the United States, reflecting its key role in facilitating high-level international diplomacy.
