Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistani television actress and model Hina Afridi has revealed the reason behind her preference for minimal or no makeup, saying it is influenced by her upbringing and personal comfort on screen.
Speaking during a recent television morning show appearance while promoting her drama serial Mirza Ki Heer, she said her character requires only light makeup such as tint and mascara.
Afridi shared that she has tried heavier makeup for camera work but did not find it suitable for her appearance. She added that her mother never encouraged her to wear makeup, which also shaped her natural beauty routine.
The actress noted that she rarely undergoes facials and does not use concealer, emphasizing that natural and light makeup trends are becoming more popular among young women.
She further mentioned that she prefers curling her eyelashes, a technique she learned from her brother, and believes it enhances her natural look on screen.
Afridi is currently receiving praise for her performances in popular dramas including Pehli Si Mohabbat, Raja Rani, Kacha Dhaga, Ghulam Badshah Sundari, and Mirza Ki Heer.
