Time Running Out for Iran Deal, Trump Urges Immediate Action

Date:

Washington, USA – Web Desk: U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Iran that the window for a diplomatic deal is closing and urged the country to take negotiations seriously before it’s too late.

Posting on Truth Social, Trump described Iranian negotiators as “very unusual” and “desperate,” claiming they are seeking concessions despite being militarily weakened. He criticized Tehran for publicly stating that it is merely “considering” U.S. proposals, calling the approach misleading.

“Time is running out, and Iran must act seriously before it’s too late. Once the window closes, the consequences will not be favorable,” Trump said.

Speaking at a Republican Party fundraising event in Washington, Trump asserted that Iranian leaders are fearful and unwilling to assume ultimate authority. “If you ask their leader to become supreme leader, he politely declines. Iran wants to negotiate with me directly and achieve a settlement to end the war,” he said.

Trump further claimed that although Iran desires a deal, internal fears prevent open engagement. He also criticized NATO, stating the alliance has provided no support in dealing with Iran. According to Trump, the U.S. does not require NATO assistance, but the current moment in the Middle East will not be forgotten.
