Pakistan Passport Offices to Remain Open Five Days a Week

Date:

Islamabad – Web Desk : The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has decided to keep passport offices open five days a week to facilitate the public.

According to officials, all field formations and offices of the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports will now operate from Monday to Friday, restoring the previous schedule.

Earlier, a public notice had announced that passport offices would remain open only four days a week, a move that raised concerns among applicants seeking travel documents.

Authorities said the revised decision aims to improve public service and ease the process for citizens applying for passports.

Under the new arrangement, passport offices across Pakistan will continue to provide services throughout the standard five-day working week.
