Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk : Gold and silver prices declined in both international and local markets on Friday, reflecting ongoing volatility in global precious metals trading.
In the international bullion market, gold prices fell by $71 per ounce, settling at $5,105. Locally, the price of gold per tola decreased by PKR 7,100, reaching PKR 533,262. Similarly, the price per 10 grams of gold dropped by PKR 6,087, standing at PKR 457,186.
Silver prices also saw a downward trend. The local price per tola fell by PKR 324 to PKR 8,851, while the price per 10 grams decreased by PKR 278, reaching PKR 7,588.
This follows a previous decline, where gold per tola had already dropped by PKR 2,900 the day before. Analysts cite global market fluctuations, rising energy prices, and geopolitical tensions as key factors driving precious metals volatility.
