Date:

Washington, USA – Web Desk: During the ongoing 10-day military confrontation with Iran, approximately 150 U.S. troops have sustained injuries, according to Pentagon sources. Earlier reports had confirmed only eight severely wounded personnel.

Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell clarified that since the launch of Operation Epic Fury, six U.S. service members have died, while numerous others have been injured. Of those wounded, 108 have returned to duty following treatment, and eight remain under intensive medical care. Most injuries are reportedly minor, though some may include concussive trauma from blasts.

The Pentagon has not yet released a detailed breakdown of all injuries, but officials emphasize that injuries from such military operations often involve head trauma due to explosions. The disclosure highlights the significant human cost of the escalating conflict in the region.
