Lightning Strike in Shangla Kills Three Including Child

Shangla, Pakistan – Web Desk: A tragic lightning strike in Shangla’s Alpuri area claimed three lives on Tuesday, authorities confirmed. The victims, a husband, wife, and their child, were struck when lightning hit their home during intermittent thunderstorms affecting Shangla, Swat, and Bunir districts.

Rescue officials rushed the injured to a nearby hospital, where doctors confirmed all three had died. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of potential flash floods due to ongoing heavy rains and thunder in the region.

Residents are urged to exercise caution and avoid open areas during thunderstorms.
