TEHRAN, Iran – Web Desk : Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on March 10, 2026, that countries expelling U.S. and Israeli ambassadors from their territories would be granted full access to the Strait of Hormuz.
According to a statement from the IRGC, such nations will enjoy unrestricted passage through the strategic waterway starting immediately. The spokesperson criticized remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, asserting that Iran will determine the conditions for ending the ongoing conflict in the region.
The IRGC further warned that if attacks on Iran continue, not a single liter of oil will be allowed to leave the region. The statement emphasized that security in the Middle East will either be ensured for all or for none.
Meanwhile, President Trump, addressing the Republican conference, reiterated that the U.S. Navy is prepared to protect vessels in the Strait of Hormuz if necessary. He previously indicated that American naval forces could be deployed alongside commercial ships in the strait should circumstances require.
In response to Trump’s statements, the IRGC challenged the U.S. to deploy naval vessels to protect oil tankers, signaling escalating tensions in the region’s crucial energy corridor.
