Iraq Closes Airspace After Israel Launches Strikes on Iran

Date:

Tel Aviv, Israel – Web Desk: Following direct attacks by Israel on Iran, Iraq has closed its airspace to prevent further escalation and ensure regional safety. The strikes mark a significant escalation in the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict, heightening fears of a wider Middle East crisis.

According to international media reports, Israeli Defense officials confirmed that airstrikes have targeted multiple sites in Tehran in response to ongoing security threats and repeated warnings from Iran. Iranian media reported that Israeli forces struck three locations in Tehran, including University Road, creating smoke plumes over the city and spreading panic among residents.

In Israel, air raid sirens sounded in several cities immediately after the attacks, prompting authorities to instruct citizens to move to secure locations and bunkers. Security forces have been placed on high alert, and the country’s defensive systems have been fully activated in response to potential retaliatory actions by Iran.

The developments reflect the rapidly escalating tensions between Israel and Iran and underline the potential for regional instability, affecting neighboring countries including Iraq.
