Rawalpindi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Lieutenant General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), announced that Pakistan Army’s “Operation Ghazab Lil Haq” has so far killed 274 Afghan regime and extremist fighters while 400 others were wounded. Twelve Pakistani soldiers lost their lives in the operation.

During a press conference in Rawalpindi, DG ISPR said that on the nights of February 21 and 22, Pakistan Army targeted hideouts of extremist elements in Afghanistan. In retaliation, Afghan forces fired across 53 locations along 15 sectors of the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The operation resulted in the destruction of 115 tanks and armored vehicles, the seizure of 18 Afghan check posts, and the demolition of 73 additional posts. DG ISPR emphasized that the Afghan regime serves as a “master proxy” sheltering terrorist elements against Pakistan, and the army’s response has been decisive and effective.

Video footage of the strikes was shown during the briefing, highlighting the precision and professionalism of the Pakistan Army. The DG concluded that Pakistan remains committed to national defense and will respond proportionally to any aggression.
