Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has warned that the Afghan Taliban regime risks failure if it continues aggressive actions against Pakistan, stating that Pakistan will teach a lesson ensuring the country is no longer targeted.
Memon said in a statement that the Pakistani nation respects its armed forces and security agencies, which have consistently delivered strong responses to hostile actions, emphasizing that Pakistan has remained a peaceful country and avoided initiating aggression.
He highlighted that Pakistan has always prioritized support and friendly relations with Afghan citizens and refugees, but the Taliban’s recent hostile moves have ignored Pakistan’s trust and goodwill.
Memon further alleged that the Taliban are acting as a proxy for India, avoiding direct confrontation while engaging in activities against Pakistan through Afghan territory. He added that Pakistan has sought to resolve issues through dialogue but will take timely and decisive measures against aggressors.
The minister affirmed that such actions by the Taliban cannot weaken Pakistan’s national security or the protection of its citizens. Pakistan remains committed to regional peace and stability, prepared to counter hostile intentions politically, diplomatically, and militarily, relying on the sacrifices of its armed forces to safeguard the nation.
In a related tweet, Memon recalled that the Pakistani military captured Indian pilot Abhinandan Varthaman on 27 February 2019 and stated that today, Pakistan is responding firmly to terrorist acts originating from Afghanistan.
