Saudi Arabia Raises Oil Output to Offset Iran Supply Impact Amid US Tensions

Date:

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has stepped up efforts to stabilize global oil markets following heightened tensions between Iran and the United States.

According to media reports, the Kingdom has increased crude oil production to offset potential disruptions linked to Iranian oil supply. Saudi crude output has reportedly reached a three-year high of 7.03 million barrels per day.

The move comes amid growing geopolitical uncertainty in the Middle East, where escalating rhetoric between Tehran and Washington has raised concerns over possible supply constraints in global energy markets.

Saudi Arabia, one of the world’s largest oil exporters, is seen as playing a key role in maintaining market stability during periods of regional volatility. Analysts suggest the increase in production is aimed at preventing sharp price spikes and reassuring global energy consumers.

Oil markets remain sensitive to developments in the region, particularly any escalation that could affect shipping routes or production infrastructure.
