During his US trip, Prime Minister Sharif attended the Gaza Board of Peace meeting, where he also delivered a speech emphasizing Pakistan’s commitment to achieving lasting peace in Gaza. He called on the international community to make joint efforts to ensure sustainable peace and stability in the region.
In his address, Sharif praised former US President Donald Trump’s role in conflict resolution, saying timely intervention helped prevent a potential Pakistan-India war and saved millions of lives. He described Trump as a strong advocate of peace.
The visit highlighted Pakistan’s diplomatic engagement on global peace initiatives and its growing role in international dialogue on regional and global security issues.
