UN Experts Say Epstein Allegations May Constitute Crimes Against Humanity

Date:

New York, United States – Web Desk: United Nations experts have described allegations contained in emails linked to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein as potentially constituting crimes against humanity, calling for an independent investigation into the so-called Epstein files case.

According to the experts, millions of documents and files associated with Epstein suggest the existence of a global criminal network involved in actions that could meet the legal threshold for crimes against humanity under international law.

The experts urged authorities to conduct an impartial and comprehensive inquiry to determine accountability and ensure justice for victims.

Jeffrey Epstein, who was facing charges related to the sexual abuse of minors and human trafficking, was found dead in a U.S. jail in August 2019. His death was ruled a suicide, though it has remained the subject of widespread public scrutiny and debate.

Recently, the U.S. Department of Justice released files containing information related to Epstein’s alleged involvement in child sexual abuse and human trafficking, renewing global attention to the case and prompting calls for greater transparency and accountability.
