Pakistan Army Holds Free Medical Camp in North Waziristan

Date:

(Web Desk) – The Pakistan Army organized a free medical camp in Mir Ali tehsil of North Waziristan, providing essential healthcare services to hundreds of local residents in a remote region with limited access to medical facilities.

According to official sources, the initiative aimed to deliver free medical consultations, diagnostic services, and medicines to underserved communities. The camp offered a wide range of specialist services, including gynecology, surgery, general medicine, and pediatric care, ensuring comprehensive treatment for patients of all age groups.

Residents visiting the facility also benefited from modern diagnostic services such as X-ray imaging and laboratory testing, allowing doctors to conduct detailed medical assessments on-site. Teams comprising army doctors and experienced healthcare professionals examined patients and provided treatment during the event.

Officials stated that more than 700 individuals received free medical check-ups and medicines during the camp, including approximately 150 children. The initiative forms part of broader outreach efforts aimed at improving healthcare access in remote and underserved regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where residents often face challenges in accessing specialized medical services.

Local residents expressed appreciation for the initiative, describing the free medical camp as a valuable service for communities living far from major healthcare centers. Many residents highlighted the importance of such programs in addressing healthcare needs in distant areas, where limited infrastructure and travel constraints can restrict access to quality treatment.

Healthcare outreach programs like these are regularly conducted in remote regions across Pakistan to support local communities through medical assistance, preventive care, and awareness initiatives. Observers note that such efforts play a significant role in bridging healthcare gaps, particularly in areas affected by geographic isolation.
