Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: A severe traffic accident occurred on the Super Highway near DHA City on the inbound track to Karachi, involving multiple vehicles, authorities reported. The crash, triggered by slippery conditions due to heavy rain, involved a high-end van and two trucks.
According to a Motorway spokesperson, several people were injured and were immediately transferred to nearby hospitals. Rescue officials confirmed that four people, including a woman and a child, lost their lives in the collision, while four others, including three women, sustained serious injuries. All injured were transported to private hospitals via Edhi Ambulances, and rescue operations are ongoing.
Officials emphasized that many of the victims are in critical condition and advised motorists to exercise extreme caution on wet roads. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and urged the public to follow traffic safety regulations during inclement weather.
