Date:

Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Police have solved the city’s largest-ever jewelry heist within 48 hours, recovering stolen valuables worth over Rs 310 million.

The West District Police arrested six suspects, including a former employee, involved in the robbery at Prince Jewellers in Iqbal Market, Orangi Town. Authorities recovered 7,064 grams of gold, silver, and diamond jewelry.

DIG West Zone, Irfan Baloch, stated that the mastermind, Irfan, led a six-member gang whose secret hideouts yielded additional stolen items. Investigations revealed that the suspects gained entry by cutting through a wall to access the safe.

Technical inquiries uncovered that an employee, Aamir, who had worked at the store for 15 years, facilitated the robbery by making a duplicate key and marking the wall for the gang.

Police also seized equipment used during the heist, including a cylinder, weapons, motorcycles, and mobile phones. The robbery had reportedly been meticulously planned six months in advance. All suspects have been handed over to investigative authorities for legal proceedings.
