No Deal or Special Treatment for Imran Khan, Says Federal Minister

Date:

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Atahullah Tarar has clarified that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan is neither being offered a political deal nor any special leniency, though all his medical needs will be fully met.

Speaking to media representatives in London, Tarar described Khan’s health condition as “not alarming” and criticized the spread of sensational claims on social media. “Health matters should not be politicized,” he emphasized.

Addressing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent successful visit to Austria, Tarar noted that the trip is expected to bring a new dimension to bilateral ties. He added that the Prime Minister’s address in German was widely appreciated by both Austrian Chancellor Christian Stöckl and the general public. Social media also highlighted the Prime Minister’s efforts to communicate in the German language.

When asked about the national cricket team’s performance, Tarar said that wins and losses are part of the game and acknowledged that there is room for improvement in the squad.
