UAE Seeks Review of Pakistan-India T20 World Cup Match Ban

Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: The UAE Cricket Board has formally requested the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to reconsider its decision to skip the Pakistan vs India T20 World Cup 2026 clash scheduled for 15 February. Following Sri Lanka Cricket, which earlier appealed for review citing financial losses and tourism impact, the UAE board emphasized the importance of making decisions in the best interest of cricket. Preparations, including ticket sales and hosting arrangements, are complete, and ICC officials continue efforts to persuade Pakistan to participate. Discussions involve PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, ICC Deputy Chairman Imran Khawaja, and Bangladesh Cricket Board President Aminul Islam.
