Following Sri Lanka Cricket, which earlier appealed for review citing financial losses and tourism impact, the UAE board emphasized the importance of making decisions in the best interest of cricket. Preparations, including ticket sales and hosting arrangements, are complete, and ICC officials continue efforts to persuade Pakistan to participate. Discussions involve PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, ICC Deputy Chairman Imran Khawaja, and Bangladesh Cricket Board President Aminul Islam.
