Quetta & Balochistan Hit by Wheel-Jam Strike, Dozens Arrested

Quetta, Pakistan – Web Desk: Balochistan witnessed a massive wheel-jam strike and shutdown organized by Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Aain Pakistan. Shops, markets, and commercial centers remained closed across Quetta, Mastung, Kalat, Pishin, Loralai, Zhob, Sibi, and other districts. Police arrested dozens of political activists as roads were blocked, while 3G and 4G internet services were suspended. The strike highlighted public support for constitutional supremacy, democratic values, and election transparency. Traders and citizens fully participated, signaling strong protest against alleged election rigging. National highways connecting Balochistan to Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab were heavily affected.
