Date:

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Gold prices witnessed a significant rise on Saturday in both international and local markets, just one day after a brief dip.

In the global bullion market, the price of gold rose by $117 per ounce, bringing the new international rate to $4,967 per ounce.

Meanwhile, in local markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by PKR 11,700 to reach PKR 519,462, while the price per 10 grams rose by PKR 10,030 to PKR 445,354.

Silver prices also saw an uptick, with the price per tola increasing by PKR 444 to PKR 8,269, and the price per 10 grams rising by PKR 381 to PKR 7,089.

The surge comes amid fluctuating global bullion trends and continued demand in Pakistan’s domestic market.
