Positive first round in Muscat; US, Iran prepare for follow-up negotiations

Washington, United States — Web Desk: US President Donald Trump confirmed that the next round of nuclear talks with Iran is scheduled for next week, following positive outcomes from the first round of negotiations in Muscat, Oman.

Trump stated that Iran appears more prepared to comply compared to a year and a half ago and emphasized that he does not want to see nuclear weapons developed. The initial discussions last Friday were described as productive, with both sides agreeing to continue consultations in their respective capitals before resuming formal talks.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed the continuation of negotiations. US officials aim for Iran to halt uranium enrichment and limit ballistic missile production. Analysts say these developments could impact Middle East stability and global nuclear diplomacy.
