Police and security forces deployed across city; internet and train services remain suspended
Quetta, Pakistan | Web Desk: Following recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan, Quetta city has been placed on high security alert, with the Red Zone sealed and major entry and exit routes under tight surveillance by police and security personnel.
Authorities have stationed containers and trucks at Red Zone access points to prevent unauthorized entry. City-wide patrols continue to ensure law and order, while Section 144 has been enforced across Balochistan to restrict public gatherings.
In addition, mobile and internet services remain suspended for the third consecutive day, causing significant disruption for residents and media professionals alike.
The railway authorities have also announced the continued suspension of train services, including Jaffer Express, Bolan Mail, and Chaman Passenger, as preventive security measures remain in place.
Officials stated these steps are being taken to safeguard the public and maintain peace after the recent incidents across the province.
