Brave troops thwart multiple attacks by Indian-backed terrorists; 10 officers martyred

Quetta, Balochistan – Web Desk: In a major counter-terror operation, Pakistani security forces successfully foiled 12 coordinated attacks by Indian-backed terrorist group Fitna-e-Hindustan across Balochistan. A total of 67 terrorists were killed, while 10 brave security personnel sacrificed their lives defending civilians and national security.

Security sources confirmed that last night, terrorists attempted simultaneous attacks at multiple locations including Quetta, Gwadar, Khuzdar, Pasni, Dera Murad Jamali, and Dalbandin. Prompt and effective actions by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and local police ensured all attacks were neutralized.

Tragically, in addition to the 10 martyred officers, terrorists also targeted civilians in Gwadar, killing 11 people, including a woman and three children from a labor family in Khuzdar. Security operations and aerial surveillance remain ongoing to pursue the remaining terrorists.

Authorities highlighted that Indian media and social platforms are providing support to these terrorists, exposing a coordinated network of external backing. In the past 48 hours, security forces have already eliminated 41 other terrorists in Balochistan.

National Leadership Praise:
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the valiant efforts of security forces. They honored the fallen officers and civilians and vowed to protect Balochistan’s peace, sovereignty, and unity, emphasizing that the nation will not compromise against externally supported terrorist threats.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif particularly recognized operations in Quetta, Gwadar, Pasni, Dalbandin, and other areas, where dozens of terrorists were eliminated. The PM reiterated that Pakistan’s security forces will continue to fight terrorism relentlessly until complete eradication is achieved.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attacks, praising the professionalism and courage of Pakistan’s security forces for thwarting terrorist plots and safeguarding civilians.
