Turkish FM Hakan Fidan to Represent President Erdogan at Trump-Led Gaza Board Event
Turkey has agreed to participate in the Gaza Board of Peace signing ceremony, with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan representing President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The announcement follows an invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump, who will host the ceremony during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Hakan Fidan, already a member of the Gaza Executive Board alongside U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, will attend the high-level event on behalf of Turkey. While Turkey’s official status as a founding member of the Board of Peace has not yet been confirmed, its participation marks a significant diplomatic engagement.
