Royal officials assure no cause for concern; Pakistan prays for King Salman’s health
Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz has been discharged from King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh after a routine medical examination, with royal officials emphasizing there is no cause for concern regarding his health. The Saudi royal court confirmed the checkup was precautionary and part of standard medical care.
“The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is undergoing routine medical tests… May Allah protect him and grant him continued health and well-being,” the royal court said. Officials expressed gratitude for prayers from citizens and the global Muslim community.
Following the news, Pakistani leadership conveyed their concern and goodwill. President Asif Ali Zardari prayed for King Salman’s health, stating that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques holds immense respect in the hearts of the Pakistani people. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed solidarity and wished for the Saudi King’s speedy recovery, reaffirming strong Pakistan-Saudi ties.
