Sindh’s projects praised; Sharjeel Memon urges other provinces to match performance

Sindh Minister of Information Sharjeel Inam Memon praised the province’s achievements, saying other provinces should emulate Sindh’s performance. Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad’s National Press Club, Memon criticized opposition remarks on Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s briefing at the Presidential House, calling them inappropriate.

He highlighted Sindh’s initiatives in healthcare, infrastructure, and energy, including the CyberKnife treatment, which is now provided for free in Pakistan, a service available in only 11 countries worldwide. He also emphasized Sindh’s public-private partnership projects, 21 lakh homes under construction, and over 2.9 million patients treated free of cost.

Memon stressed Sindh’s role in national development, citing Thar coal projects generating electricity for the national grid, benefiting the entire country. He urged that such achievements be promoted internationally to showcase Pakistan’s potential in natural resources, healthcare, and infrastructure.

Memon also addressed relations with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, noting that the province’s CM was welcomed in Sindh and all constitutional respect and security protocols were followed. He called on political leaders to highlight positive contributions and present Pakistan’s progress to the world.
