Nine militants killed in two KP operations: ISPR

DI KHAN: At least nine militants were killed in two separate operations conducted by security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said ISPR.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), intelligence-based operations led to the elimination of 9 extremist militants.

The Army spokesperson stated that the first operation took place in Dera Ismail Khan following a tip-off about the presence of militants, resulting in the killing of 4 militants in a heavy exchange of fire.

Similarly, another operation in Bannu led to the killing of 5 militants, and a large cache of ammunition and weapons was recovered from the extremists.

The ISPR added that sanitization operations are ongoing in these areas to eliminate any remaining militants, aiming for the complete eradication of foreign-supported terrorism from the country.
