Karachi Airport”Four flights cancelled

KARACHI(Web Desk)-International and domestic flights schedules were badly affected due to the strike by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) engineers’ and four flights failed to take off from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) on Monday.

A Thai Airways flight TG-342 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to depart from Karachi for Bangkok.

Two Air Sial flights PF-143 and PF145 were also cancelled. These flights were scheduled to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA), Lahore from Karachi.

Another Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-306 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to depart from Karachi to Lahore.

The situation left hundreds of passengers stranded for hours, many of them families, elderly citizens, and children, enduring long waits at the crowded Karachi airport.

Families with young children and elderly travellers were particularly distressed as the uncertainty dragged on throughout the day.
