Mumbai (Web Desk) Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan surprised fans by revealing that he doesn’t give career advice to his children regarding the film industry.
Speaking at a special event on his 60th birthday, Shah Rukh opened up about his daughter Suhana Khan and son Aryan Khan, both of whom are now entering the entertainment world.
When asked whether he guides them in their film careers, he smiled and replied, “No, I don’t give them advice. I just appreciate their work.”
Explaining his reason, Shah Rukh said, “Creative people don’t need too much explanation—they find their own path.”
He added, “I’m their father, and after 35 years in the industry, if I try to teach them something, they might feel obligated to follow it just because I’m their dad. I don’t want them to carry that burden.”
He shared that Suhana is pursuing acting while Aryan is focused on writing and directing. “They work independently, and whenever they ask for my opinion, I give it.”
Shah Rukh concluded, “Sometimes I praise them, sometimes I critique them—but I always end with: do what feels right to you.”
