ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has officially announced that by-elections in three key constituencies of Punjab—NA-66 (Mianwali), NA-129 (Lahore), and PP-87 (Mianwali)—will now be held on November 23, 2025.
This decision comes after the earlier postponement of the elections due to severe flooding in the affected areas. The ECP has since reviewed the situation and finalized the new polling schedule, notifying all relevant authorities to ensure timely preparations.
According to the ECP, all logistical and administrative arrangements are underway to facilitate smooth and transparent elections. Voter lists have been updated, polling staff is being trained, and security protocols are being coordinated with local law enforcement agencies.
Voters in the respective constituencies are advised to stay informed through official channels and adhere to the guidelines issued by the ECP.
The Commission has also urged political parties and candidates to cooperate fully and maintain a peaceful environment during the election process.
