South Korea (Web-Desk) – US tech giant Nvidia said on Friday it will supply 260,000 of its most cutting-edge chips to South Korea, as CEO Jensen Huang met President Lee Jae Myung and the heads of the country’s biggest companies on the sidelines of the APEC summit.
Nvidia to supply 260,000 AI chips to South Korea, strengthening ties with tech giants like Samsung, SK hynix, and Hyundai. The deal includes chips for AI factories, cloud infrastructure, and national computing centers.
CEO Jensen Huang met President Lee Jae Myung during the APEC summit, supporting Korea’s ambition to become the world’s third AI power. Amid US-China chip tensions, Huang urged Washington to allow Nvidia sales in China, calling it beneficial for both nations. The visit also featured a symbolic “chimaek” dinner to celebrate tech friendship.
