(Web-Desk) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Saturday directed officials to make ‘Air Punjab’ operational as soon as possible.
During a high-level meeting chaired by CM Maryam, the progress of the Air Punjab project was reviewed, and instructions were issued to complete the first phase of the project without delay.
The CM was briefed on various aspects of the initiative. It was decided that Air Punjab’s initial flight route will operate between Lahore and Islamabad. Modern and comfortable aircraft will be acquired on lease for the airline’s operations.
The meeting also reviewed the proposed Murree Glass Train Project, for which the chief minister directed officials to explore all possible steps for its implementation.
