Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will hold a rally on Peshawar’s Ring Road today, a stage and chairs have been set up at the rally venue, while workers are expected to arrive from all over the country, including different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The rally will be addressed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Salman Akram Raja, Asad Qaiser, party chairman Barrister Gohar and other leaders. PTI founder Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan’s sisters will also attend the rally.
According to the administration, foolproof security arrangements have been completed for the rally.
On the other hand, Meena Khan Afridi claimed that this gathering will be historic and more than 500,000 people will participate in it. This rally is being held on the call of Imran Khan and the whole of Pakistan comes out on Khan’s call.
He said that after the fall of the federal government, Imran Khan had held a rally at the same place, which was very big, and the rally on the 27th will also prove to be historic. Workers from all over the country will participate in it and leaders will present a plan of action for the future and Imran Khan’s message.
Due to the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there is no obstacle or difficulty in the preparations for the rally. Government machinery and vehicles are being used to clean the rally venue, while the relevant TMA officials are also active.
In this regard, Meena Khan Afridi said that security is the responsibility of the police, while other arrangements are being made by the party itself. The rally is being held at the party’s expense and the workers are participating in it by collecting donations.
